ORDER PROCESS

  1. CUSTOMER submits a “rough” drawing of the space.

  2. BoxBlu creates a “concept drawing” and an estimate.

  3. CUSTOMER can ask our designer to make one round of revisions to the design for free.  PRO TIP: We find that the most successful revisions are done in person at our showroom

  4. The revised drawing will be sent to the customer electronically accompanied by the revised estimate.

  5. THE NEXT STEP IS $300 down to secure the order and authorize any additional design work that may be required to complete the proposal.

  6. Payment in full then mobilizes our measure tech to confirm design/space compatibility and put your project into production.  PRO TIP: Our measure tech is an important step in the process, but at the end of the day our customers are contractors and it is expected that they will proof the order and take responsibility for it.

SERVICE

If you have any preference on shipping dates or pickup times, please add this detail to the order or confirmation letter. If no indication is made, the shipment or pickup date will be scheduled based on our raw material lead time, which is typically 5 business days. BoxBlu Cabinets is a low-price provider.  Our core competencies are un-paralleled, because we never attempt to provide a service that can be done better by someone else.  For this reason, we only design cabinet layouts, build cabinets, install cabinets and deliver cabinets.

WARRANTY INFORMATION (Warranty Coverage)

BoxBlu products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of pickup. Please note any damage under the following circumstance and your purchase would not be covered by our warranty: products have been mishandled, misused, abused or improperly installed; color or pattern change and occurrence of cracks in the finish or joints due to temperature/moisture level changes, accidents after receiving, on-site alterations or normal wear and tear. This warranty obligation is a limited warranty and is for the repair, replacement or credit adjustment of the defective components, but it does not cover the cost of installation, removal, subsequent damage or transportation of the defective products. This warranty does not apply to any products used in conjunction with the cabinetry, such as counter-tops, appliances or plumbing fixtures. BoxBlu cabinets are constructed from several pieces of solid wood and veneer edged plywood panels. Wood products’ natural characteristic varies in grains and colors, differences in grain patterns and colors should be expected. Mineral streaks and knots in the wood are not considered defects. Color variations and color softening in cabinets are natural occurrences which depend on type of wood used, ages of the cabinets and the exposure to UV light and sunlight. For such instance, new/replacement cabinets may not match display samples or existing cabinets. And such variation and color changes are not considered defects. This warranty only applies to defects that do not involve color changing and aging of any wood products. Mitered door joints in particular are more likely to react to conditions of their environment. Gaps that occur between door joints due to environmental factors are not subject to replacement under this warranty. Painted finishes react differently than stained finishes. With normal wood movement and climate changes, cracks appear in between joints and panel lines. These are considered a normal occurrence and are not covered under this warranty. Cabinet doors that are warped must be allowed to hang through one full heating season (i.e. through full summer) before replacement will be considered under this limited warranty. Doors that are “out of flatness by less than or equal to ¼” are not warped.  This is normal behavior for all wood products and is not covered under this warranty. BoxBlu periodically makes changes to its product lines and specifications. If a warranty claim is filed for a discontinued or unavailable item, BoxBlu will replace the part(s) under warranty with a new part(s) of the same style or with a similar style currently offered. BoxBlu is not able to match replacement products with the originally installed products.

WARRANTY CLAIMS (Delivering damage claims )

Our customers pick up the products from our facility.  We package them in a way that makes inspection prior to loading and departure easy.  Once the cabinets leave our dock they are in the possession of the client and all damage subsequent is the responsibility of the client.  If damage occurs, BoxBlu will leap into action to ensure replacement parts are ordered promptly, but BoxBlu will not be liable for the cost of these parts.

Manufacturing defect claims

Manufacturing defect claims cannot be made directly to BoxBlu from anyone that was not an original purchaser.
